Sensory + Theatre = Endless Possibilities, Inc. (STEP VA)
is a non-profit organization founded in 2013 by rehabilitative therapy professionals. Our mission is to empower people with disabilities and their families through creative expression and sensory exploration.
We weave sensory regulation for individuals with disabilities into all our programming, giving each person the opportunity to unlock their potential in a nurturing environment. STEP VA aims to provide experiences in the creative arts that support and develop the individual expression of all people with disabilities, regardless of age, ability, racial/ethnic background, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or socio-economic status.
It is our goal to see all people develop to their full potential through supported arts education. We have created intentional programs that center disability, allowing our participants to experience success on their own terms, and that promote the understanding of disabilities and access
in our community. Through the arts, all people can be heard and seen regardless of perceived barriers; the possibilities are endless!
